Welcome to my personal website.  I am Economist at Banco de la República, the Central Bank of Colombia, and instructor at Universidad del Rosario.

I obtained my PhD in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia in 2018.

My primary research interests are in international trade, labor, development and macroeconomics. My work in progress examines how firm-level factor misallocation distorts comparative advantage in open economies, the origin of the observed income gaps across sectors in developing countries and the implications of trade shocks for exporting diversification in an environment in which firms face capacity constraints.
